Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Exactly right.  Since the earth has been around for millions of years before we got here and kept records, keeping records for the past 200 years is not a good method for extrapolating any real predictions.   It is very cold here in the US now, and these idiots that claimed "global warming", are now claiming "climate change".  To me, that is like claiming..."weather".

It is just a way for the UN to tax all world citizens.  Where will all of this money go?  Who knows but, since man can not cause warming or cooling of the planet, rest assured that this money will go to other "worthy" causes.  I would rather keep my money.

  Bill,
I noticed you haven't commented on the warming of the North Atlantic. After all, if the Titanic sank today, there would be many more survivors. And you are also ignoring science. If an increase is caused by environmental gasses, then over time, it will become more significant.
Yet for some reason you are against a better understanding, Why ? It could be because you are not able to grasp long term consequences ?

edited to add; current U.S. and world populations ; http://www.census.gov/popclock/
world population estimate, 1910; 1.75 billion   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_population_estimates
U.S. population, 1910, about 92 million ;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1910_United_States_Census

That's a lot of change in such a short time. I think what you are missing is that as ground water becomes depleted, that climate change can become pronounced. Even a desert can have low average temperatures because temperatures will fall at night and in the winter.
Just look at Eastern Washington and Oregon or even N.M., Texas and Az, where there is little water.
And between Wa. and Ore., temps can be near 100 in the summer and in the teens in the winter, low average temperature. But you already know that.

From CSIRO.
Quote: Australian annual average daily mean temperatures showed little change from 1910 to 1950 but have progressively warmed since, increasing by 0.9 °C from 1910 to 2011.

Wow-less than 1 *C over the last 100 year's-were doomed lol.
And america is having one of it's coldest winters in history.
Im not seeing this epic global warming :o

  And yet hasn't Australia been spending billions on desalination plants because of prolonged draught ? Yep .

removed smiley face after yep, wouldn't be nice to make fun of Australia's water shortage due to climate change. Do some what keep up with water desalination as Australia and the Middle East/North Africa regions are in short supply of fresh water which is slowly happening in America.

edited to add; with desalination plants that use Reverse Osmosis, if what I know is correct, there might be a modification they could make that could lower operating costs. The PX Pressure Exchanger is said to save up to 60% of energy costs, my modification could do better.

 As a teenager back in the mid 1970s. I can remember days in Arkansas of 113 F in the shade actual temperature. Now that I am in my 50s I haven't seen this for a while. Even further south in Louisiana. You would think if global warming was all that. You would think we would have higher than 113 F actual temperature not heat index days on a regular bases now. Not to mention from earlier predictions. Wasn't the ice caps supposed to have fully melted by now? LOL

PS We didn't here much on heat index back in the 70s. 113 f at xxx% humidity is how we heard it. I wonder what the heat index would be at 50% humidity. I guess I will have to look that up for it sucked on those days. Spray bottle of water under a fan was our friend.

With out a dream, there can be no vision.

There are lot of species of other animals on this earth which are  capable of hibernation.  Those animals will also be alive after ice age.    So,  you may have to live with those animals like Tarzan

  I'm okay with that as long as I get Jane  ;)

  @All,
Here is a link to National Ice and Data Center. To quote them;
Arctic sea ice extent for December was 12.38 million square kilometers (4.78 million square miles). This is 700,000 square kilometers or 270,300 square miles below the 1981 to 2010 average, making it the 4th lowest December extent in the 36-year satellite data record.

Make of it what you will.
