You mean GB 2505082? Not me.

I think it is an example of a device which does two jobs, neither properly. The magnetic component is described in Patrick's Chapter 1.

Patrick's Chapter 1 is just the introduction and survey but thanks for the reference. Augmenting your observation about my ignorance, I was unaware of this fine publication before you mentioned it
