post without answering what the subject was. It was a direct
question that had nothing to do with your twisted answer and
I re-read my post and could find nothing about CVT anywhere.

One more time : multiple under unity processes joining together
to get positive speed increases and positive fuel efficiency.

When did the "T" in CVT stop meaning transmission?  One more time:  I have correctly stated and continue to state that any two under unity processes placed in series result in lower efficiency than either process by itself.  You claimed that because one combination of under unity processes ends up being more efficient than a different combination of under unity processes that somehow that violates the absolute mathematical fact that the combination of any two under unity processes placed in series is less than the individual efficiencies of either process. 

Go ahead, pick any engine you want.  Pick any transmission you want, including a CVT.  Measure the efficiency of each.  Then connect them together and measure the combined efficiency.

    All the transmission does is makes the most of what is available. You can
    usually tune the ratios for speed or fuel economy but they won't necessarily
    coincide. No overunity!
