Azerbaijan Authorities Raid, Close Radio Free Europe Bureau

A U.S. State Department senior official said the U.S. is "deeply disturbed" by reports that employees of the RFE/RL bureau in Baku have been detained in their offices and questioned while the premises were searched by police. 
The State Department official called on "responsible authorities" to respect Azerbaijan's "international commitment to protecting media freedom," saying a free and independent press is "critical to the well-being of the nation."     

The United States has not had a completely free press
since the 19th century - from 1910 onward it has been
somewhat controlled by government and corporate
interests and since 1960 nearly entirely controlled by
government, foreign lobby and corporate interests.
Since 1980 the Press in the U.S. could easily be mistaken
for the Department of Propaganda of the U.S. Government
in service to the State of Israel.

The U.S. is sorely in need of a Free and Independent Press
which would indeed function as a source of TRUTH 'critical
to the well-being of the nation.'

see that they've chosen to re-unite with Russia
and that real improvement is taking place.

A most excellent analysis of how Journalism
in the U.S. goes about its 'business' these days.

That kind of reflexive embrace of government claims is journalistically inexcusable in all cases, for reasons that should be self-evident. But in this case, it's truly dangerous.
It was predictable in the extreme that – even beyond the familiar neocon war-lovers – the accusation against North Korea would be exploited to justify yet more acts of U.S. aggression. In one typical example, the Boston Globe quoted George Mason University School of Law assistant dean Richard Kelsey calling the cyber-attack an "act of war," one "requiring an aggressive response from the United States." He added: "This is a new battlefield, and the North Koreans have just fired the first flare." The paper's own writer, Hiawatha Bray, explained that "hackers allegedly backed by the impoverished, backward nation of North Korea have terrorized one of the world's richest corporation" and approvingly cited Newt Gingrich as saying: "With the Sony collapse America has lost its first cyberwar."

Will Palestine succeed in getting the ICC to take some
sort of action against the ongoing War Crimes and other
Crimes Against Humanity committed by Israel?

In an Ideal World such action should have occurred long
ago.  Very sadly, in our present World certain nations are
able to skew justice with impunity.

We can only hope that at some point men of good will
and integrity will dare to take a stand for Truth and Justice.
The U.S. and Israel, partners in Crime, are long overdue for
prosecution.
