You paint with a wide paint brush when you say populist so I don't know quite what you mean because the word can be used to describe multiple stances

I would agree "populist" can have many meanings and I use it with respect to the work of Gustav Le Bonn when he refers to a psychotic crowd or mob mentality. It is not so much the "mob rule" but the lies, corruption and denial I have an issue with. A complete disregard for proven facts and science being replaced with conspiracy theories or outright lies.

Another attribute of the "populist mob" is that when there false beliefs are threatened they belittle and degrade the other people instead of trying to justify there position with facts because they have none. It is always conjecture, denial and projection and never a word about how they justify there false beliefs with facts.

Obviously any society which places hearsay and beliefs above facts and the rule of law is doomed to degenerate to barbarism and tribalism as we can see today. They champion this uncivilized mob rule type of behavior and I will not support it in any form.

Death is as certain as life and even your demagogue tRumpty Dumpty and his merry band of senators from the geriatric ward will probably be six feet under within 10 years due to cancer or obesity induced heart disease. So don't think they have accomplished anything that matters in the long term. Everything dies and ceases to exist at some point, deal with it.

So far as changing the world that's easy and we can start today.
1) Keep it in your pants, and stop having more than two children or 4 to 8 like some religious fanatics with mental issues.
2) Stop eating all the shitty processed food like the Americans are peddling. Eat locally produced whole foods and only 10% unprocessed meat or fish. Support real people, small farmers and producers not psycho corporations. Real food not the McCancer shit most are peddling and no drugs of any kind unless absolutely necessary.
3) Get some real exercise. If every person took a walk every day and planted one tree once a week the world would be a much better place. If we want to shit in your own back yard we will always live in squalor, if we take simple steps every day to improve the world and nature it will improve. Ever wonder why most all the water ways, roads and ditches are full of trash and cities are full of toxic smog?, because obviously many people are stupid and lazy. It's a scientific fact.
4) Sell all your fossil fuel related stocks and other interests because it's a bs dying industry. If every person sold there interests in fossil fuels and invested them in proven technology like solar panels with cheap nickel/iron batteries/inverters our energy needs would be solved.

So we have always had the means to solve the problems we face and improve our lives however most choose not to. We should also understand only a fool would think they could convince anyone of anything they cannot accept. This twisted world of gluttony and greed we see today is a reflection of the people of the world not nature. They are not all good otherwise the world would be a good place and as we all know it is not and it is degenerating fast on almost every level. There false beliefs, denial and ignorance has sealed there fate not science or technology.

In any case Darwinism or natural selection is going to sort out this mess within the next 20 years I suspect. The damage is already done and every system is in a state of collapse as we speak. Deal with it, your generation screwed this planet and most likely our future generations. You own this shit show and you can deal with the consequences of your actions, own it bitch. Nothing can change until everyone owns it and the older generation simply does not have the capacity to change from what I have seen.

IMHO, it should be.

The future of humanity resides as such.

1: Overunity from the Vacuum, and studies on matter generation.
2: Genetic control for future generations, too much damaged DNA.
3: Universal paychek that makes life comfortable.
4: Space mining.
5: Expansion. Reparation.
6: Hyper-competitive barbarian tennis society.

I wanna see brutal matches, I wanna see... SOMETHING... So brutal the aliens will automatically submit/cooperate just by seeing our men/sport and well mannered culture.

As they imagine that most of these brutes have void rifles, are coming with jetpacks, Space planes...

If the aliens prefer traditionnal Close combat these men will be ready to put on a show of strenght and guts with "electric swords" powered by the Vacuum.

Not to mention the countless generals wich are also hyper-scientists.

I doubt they would attempt foolish endeavours.

A majority of the most intelligent and successful people who developed advanced technology did not compete with other people. In fact, they avoided other people and generally claimed to have contempt for them and there false beliefs. They were people of morals, integrity and a true sense of individualism beyond all else.

It may be that anything less than true individualism in a universal sense beyond nationalism/greed/religion is just another form of prostitution.
