It is a price war between US shale gas explorer,Russia and their gas resources and Saudi-Arabia  !
Russia and Saudi-Arabia have each 500 billions US$ liquidity for this fight  !

When 1 barrel crude oil equates 1600 KWh and 1 MMBTU equates 293 KWh,
the shale gas price : 1,86 US$/ MMBTU
1 barrel 1600 KWh /293 KWh MMBTU ~ 5,46 x 1,86 ~ 10,15 US$ the energetical barrel worth
Not 30 US$,not 20 US$, but 10 US$ shall we see for WTI quotes  ! Mid-2020  !



But about the world energy future :

When 1 barrel ~ 1600 KWh and 1 Kg hydrogen 37,58 KWh ergo 1600/37,58 x 0,2
The energetical worth from 1 barrel crude oil/natural gas equates 8,5 US$ hydrogen  !
