Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

There are still some people who think that it is absolutely necessary to use the exact same transistor part number as EMJunkie.

So, does anyone want to step up to the plate and buy this lot of 13 and send a few out to the replicators like me, Conrad, Itsu, etc?

If you want to try something interesting, you might get power readings in the 10 Ohm loop first and then measure again after changing to the configuration below.  The power dissipation should be similar.  It will vary a little bit due to the less than 1.0 coupling factor of the various windings on the common core, the winding parasitics, and changes in the wiring inductance.

OK, I've saved your schematic and will put it on the "To do" list. It would require a fairly complete rebuild of my present layout so I'll probably just make another whole circuit testbed for it. Thanks!

You're welcome.  Please review the side by side schematics above and tell me if you think the redrawn circuit is electrically equivalent to your schematic.  EMJ insists it is terribly wrong but has nothing to say as to what the supposed glaring error(s) are that he claims it contains.

In saying this, I did suggest early on, a H-Bridge or a Power Amplifier with a Function Generator as the signal source. Those that are experimenting will see sooner or later that this is a much better way to excite the Coils.

Start small, Cheap, progress from the start!
Maybe this: EBAY: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/180W-180W-2CH-12V-Small-Stereo-High-Power-Amplifier-for-CD-MP3-Car-Audio-Home-/400586923881?pt=AU_Electronics_Audio_Amplifiers&hash=item5d44d75f69
I just bought one. Drive it with a Function Generator!

I actually bought the small Amplifier as I thought it was really well priced for the unit!!! The above is cheap and if the Frequency's are suitable, these are more than sufficient to start with.

EMJunkie suggested several times to use an audio amplifier to drive the "partnered output coil" (see the above quotes).

Question:

Is it still a "good idea" to drive the "partnered output coil" with an audio amplifier?
