Primer fields - magnetic cups

How can I make these magnetic cups as seen in video of Primer fields? I have few ideas and would like to play a little bit with these? Not so big problem to mill them out, as it poses a problem to properly magnetize them. Goal is to first make cheap and easy as possible. Then maybe later to improve them to original form.
Some ideas (for production, not use) of making them or any tip, is welcome!
