Just happened to have all that stuff handy. Wanted to see if I could fake it. I must have tried 10 different capacitors and the best it would do is about .035 volts. Runs fine on line voltage.L.O.L.

FatBird, the blue bird of unhappiness took his big fat cigar and branded your behind.   Do you have the courage to come back here and post that you were 100% dead wrong, AGAIN?   This is probably at least the 15th video in the last two years where you fell for a silly clip.

The guy was lazy with the sound.  At 4:40 you can clearly hear the switch clicking off-camera to restore power to make the bozo motor spin up again.

I don't know _exactly_ how he did it, but I am still sticking with my "Mylow" modus operandi with the blue wires of unhappiness powering the bozo motor.

Almost certainly he did not go through the trouble of sawing the thing in half to hide batteries somewhere inside.  The coils are shiny new because these motors are still being manufactured in the tens or hundreds of millions each year - the motors are brand new.  Likewise, the coils are obviously machine wound.  It would be impossible to rewind the coils by hand yourself and have it be that neat.  I seriously doubt that he went to the trouble of having a big honking magnetic field generator off to the side either.

He removed his hands from the video frame and then tried to solder his wires in place without moving the camera or the device.  He did a fairly good job of it, the lighting was the same, but he failed anyway.  I have hawk eyes for stuff like this.  Plus, with decent video editing software you can probably play with the colour space in the clip.  You can do something like make all colours within a certain range of blue all be rendered as exactly the same shade of blue.  That would guarantee that the wires would disappear.

Just Sayin, when you speak to Gerard Morin on the phone, for all you know he is getting some serious thrills when you do that.  It could even have a quasi-sexual angle, sort of like a flasher/exhibitionist that stands naked in the fifth-floor window of an office building and watches the rush hour traffic pass by in the street.  In other words, it's a perverse thrill (in his mind) to cultivate a bunch of followers and even engage in phone conversations with them.  There are all sorts of psychological syndromes that are similar to that.  One thing for sure, is that the clip that I saw and many other people saw was completely and utterly full of crap.  For anyone with experience in electric power and electronics, what was presented was a pathetic joke.

Look, if you can claim that you are getting big power out and you don't even show anything reasonable, like some voltage measurements or some clamp-on current measurements or a big honking fat load that is radiating a lot of heat, so much heat that you have to stand back - and you get some followers that don't even question that - that could be "very very exciting" for Gerard Morin.

It's a wonderful world with lots of fetishes, be they sexual fetishes or tech fetishes.  Some people can't have xes unless they are dressed like fireman with rubber boots and axes and helmets.  For sure there are people that get a huge rush out of the false attention that they can gather by making ridiculous claims.

I am not a psychiatrist, but certainly what I am suggesting is indeed real, and a real possibility for some of the crazy shenanigans that you see in the realm of free energy.  Just look at how many YouTube clips and Facebook postings have completely backfired on people.  They think that they are being cool or interesting and before you know it either they are laughing stock material for for the world when their video goes viral, or, the police are at their door to arrest them.
