I just did a weight test with the wheels and hub motor.

92lb, not too bad without batteries.

Thats not bad at all 92lb.  ;D    My bike is about 70lb with batts, and its made of alum mostly. I see in the vid your going with sla batts? Did you change your mind on the big box of lipo batteries? Maybe I missed something.   If you do make lipo packs, make individual packs of the total voltage you want to use and parallel them. If you put them all in 1 pack the heat doesnt have an easy way out. Then put the packs spread out to distribute weight.  There was an electric car made by college students and they used LOTS of AA NIMH batteries distributed throughout the car. Good idea. Individual packs are easier to take apart to repl bad cells. Some do fail. ;)
