Hi Telecom,

I was thinking of aluminum frame.

I will have to make a prototype frame from plywood and double check all parts before going all aluminum.

Plywood will allow me to make a basic template and also I will be able to correct design before a finish design frame.

Hi All,

Got a few parts already to start the frame design, will make it out of laminated wood to test run this design.

It looks nicely stiff in the Z axis, but I don't see what provides stiffness in the X axis.  Are you relying on the thickness of the material for that?  You might want to consider using square or round tubing along the top and bottom of your horizontal members so that they do not require excess material for the desired stiffness.

Hi MarkE,

I will be able to test the frame and make correction as need.
