Before I look at the video, I'll state my interpretation:  I think that the center of the object has to be a ring the width of the N-S line from the top view, and the center to W seen from the top must be a square bar at the top of the circle, and the center to E must be a square bar at the bottom of the circle.

ETA:  I was almost right.  What I thought were bars are rods.
