Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

i do not think those two examples are fair to be a comparision.

for one, they are not the same in design.

two, the 'reality' version did not allow for viewing a full rotation of the wheel.

three, not only was there no full rotation, there was no proof that airflow or magnets were not involved with the metal contraption.

four, one was a animation, the other wasn't.

the animation of the magnets working to make that wheel rotate did look almost possible.

if weights were to shift like that because of opposing magnetic fields, it does seem like it could work, depending on if the magnets are powerful enough to reach the distant secondary magnet.
can magnetic fields help to be focused by being directed through a barrel chamber that has a shielding around the chamber, to overcome the distance the hub creates? it might. would have to do some tests of that.

would the magnets be affected by the other magnets in close promixity? yes.
and that is why it might not work without shielding / field dampeners.

had the diameter of the hub been greater to avoid opposing fields, then maybe this could work.

it would have to built and tested.
then maybe recycled back into useful parts.

I don't think the simulation would work. I've noticed that magnets attract and repel linearly. I think the arrow forces would appose the rotation and stop the wheel. As for the reality version, it seems obvious why he doesn't let the wheel continue on its own.
