Well, we are not having this conversation because you are too lost and I can't help you. You left out crazy adults, you know, those guys that kill folks for the $5 in their pockets? I live in a very low crime state, much lower than yours. The difference is, I refuse to be a victim, nor allow anyone I care about to be a victim. You do not seem to care so,...like I said...good luck to you. Remember, it only takes one nut to turn your life upside down by murdering the ones you love. Your insistence of there being no crazy folks in Canada was full of crap wasn't it? Now you claim that, that was not near you so...it does not bother you. We have a state that banned all guns, just like you want...and a nut drove his car into a group of school children waiting for the school bus. He killed and maimed a bunch of them. So, your answer is that now we have to ban cars? It is so funny, in electronics, you are very logical, in this topic, not so much.

One more story...a few years ago, thanks to Obama's budget cuts, a guy got let out of the insane asylum. He was in there for murdering his mother with an axe. So, he gets out...and a week later he moves to my town and, at 2:00 a.m. he breaks into a ladies home using his axe to chop the door open. She was in her bedroom and, she got up and locked her bedroom door. A few minutes later, she watched as he chopped his way into her bedroom. This woman was 72 years old and had no connection with this guy at all. When he finally chopped his way into her room, she blew him to hell with her 357 mag. What would have happened to that woman had she not had a gun and knew how to use it? Should she have just died because guns are evil? The perp did not have a gun, he had an axe, so, maybe we should now ban axes?

My guess is that she would not agree with your fear of guns at all.

Hey bill let me tell you this. When I was growing up I got in to many HAND TO HAND fights as a teen. This means me breaking your bone or maybe just giving a black eye or a sore rib. Now after fighting and understanding that it was immature and stupid...we both came out still alive...both could have come out to make a big difference in this world or even if not, GREW UP TO BE "NORMAL".

Now replace that with guns? People are always are going to DEBATE!!! this does not mean one should HAVE the right to kill those they don't agree on? Guns are made for war and ONLY to kill period. In the evolution side of things, animals defend themselves with intimidation or venom but they HAVE A CHANCE to evolve to defend themselves. One bullet, means you are dead. Actually, the bullet signifies the immaturity of the human beings and also signifies their destruction of one another. Just wait when there is a nuclear war started. Your gun will not mean anything.

I only shoot people that are trying to kill me, or someone I am responsible for. (That is the law) End of story. You can't just shoot someone because you have an argument with them. I mean, I guess you can but, now you are charged with murder. (I have never been convicted of murder)

There are plenty of times that a gun can stop crime without shooting anyone. Here is an example: I am walking down the street, a guy comes up to me with a knife and wants my wallet...I say...sure...just hang on...it's right here...and pull out my gun and...guess what? He suddenly decides that he no longer wants my wallet. He emphasizes this point by running away at high speed. So, no one was hurt, and, I still have my wallet. Do you think if I tried to tell him that what he was doing was wrong would have stopped him? Of course not. This happens thousands of times every day in the world. Guns save lives. The statistics prove it over and over.

Don't misunderstand me. You never, ever, ever pull a gun on someone unless you are ready, willing and able to shoot them. Had this guy charged me with his knife, he would be dead. I am glad he ran away. Probably the next guy he tried to rob shot him. I am glad that is not on my conscience.

Joel, you do know that you can kill a human with your bare hands about 30 different ways right?
