Sure, just ask the families of those mounties that were gunned down in your gun free country.  So, you claim to have no crazy people there, and no guns yet somehow, those poor mounties were killed by a crazy guy with guns.

PS  My I.Q. is not really all that high but, it is higher than average. (100 is average)  My older brother's I.Q. is over 150 and my late father's was much higher than that.  By the way, my Dad, being ex-military, had guns and so does my brother.  You might want to re-examine your "only stupid people have guns" theory.

One more point.  You are totally correct when you said if someone lives in a high crime ( murder) area, they should have the smarts to move elsewhere.  I agree.  But, let's look at the murder rates in LA, Chicago, NY, Baltimore and DC.  Do you know what they all have in common?  They are gun free zones. (except for cops)  Same with the school shootings...all gun free zones.  Does that not tell you something?  In Chicago alone there are over 50 gun murders/week.  Yes, that's 50!  But how can that be in a gun free zone?  Easy, the bad guys will still always be able to get a gun. (they don't seem to follow the laws it seems)  Isn't it better to be able to be armed against them?

Bingo.  Just like the old lady here in my town with that axe guy.  No one does background checks on you when you buy an axe.  Some wackos wrote into the paper and claimed she should not have shot them, but called the Police.  Records show that she did in fact call 911 but, she had to shoot that bastard about 10 minutes before they showed up.

There are still some idiots here in town claiming she had no right to do that.  I guess they think she should have just allowed herself to be killed.  We all have the right to defend ourselves.  Period.
