Is your device a joulethief? connected to a step down transformer driving a 12 volt motor?
can you draw a schematic of your setup for clarity.

This system is constructed in an untried sequence never to have been done this way, this took me 40 plus years to reason out ! I cannot at this point reveal this sequence as I am in the process of negotiations with 2 company`s on leasing this concept ! Thanks for asking ! will keep you in touch on the matter !  Roach !
