Thanks Chet

Some may think Im goin nuts or just silly. I dont care. At the moment Im dead serious.  Considering some of what I have been reading, these problems are factual.

Was looking on ebay for detection devices.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR3.TRC2.A0.H0.Xcell+phone+detector.TRS0&_nkw=cell+phone+detector&_sacat=0

Most seem very reasonable in price.

Since last night I have been taking notice of how I am feeling while at home before I put up the foil on that wall. The portion of the wall that the meters are on the opposite side of is 5ft wide between the corner edge of the apt and a window. Looking through the window at the furthest angle from the inside I can just see the first meter(side view) about 1in of the glass face and a bit of internals. The window has those 1in horizontal blinds with metal slats, as some are plastic. Not sure where the ant is located for the communications. But Im going to be covering that short inside wall and the inset wall on the meter side of the window. I will let that be for a couple weeks or so. Wonder if applying a ground lead to the foil would help?

Makes me wonder, if these meters do cause harm, an alternative method for the power companies to make communications with the meters could be done at the wire poles remotely from the meters where the transceivers are on the poles up high away from the homes. Probable reasons for the 100 fold increase in rf power levels of these devices is to make sure of solid communication with the meters, overcoming the dead zones as we sometimes experience with cell phones. Not sure yet. But putting the transceivers up on the poles, up high, would also ensure a better communications path than just random sides of home and building structures, thus a less needed rf power level as is used now.

Looking into the sleep issues more, it seems to be an unclaimed epidemic of sorts, where most are being given drugs to solve.

At this time, this is something I need to focus on. If I somehow determine that it is the meters, I may have to move. Lol and the funny thing, is how I determine where I move, as the placement of the meters will be factored in.  Most apts have a central room for meters where many of the apartments can be much further away from the meters.

Hey mags
It's called Electromagnetic hypersensitivity- http://www.who.int/peh-emf/publications/facts/fs296/en/

There is a great deal of biased data out there however there are rare cases which have been proven beyond all shadow of doubt. It is the same old story... what is the truth when the truth is unacceptable. Any supposed scientific data out of the United States and Canada is totally biased and should be rejected. Europe has much more credible data supporting EM hypersensitivity.

Milehigh is funny... didn't he say there is no radiation from power lines, lol. Then I posted a picture of 100 fluorescent tubes lit up like a Christmas tree directly below a HV line. The fact is there is infinitely more that we do not know than we know.

Read over it quickly and going over it again this evening.

It seems to lay the blame on us instead of the radiation being an issue. Just from what I grasped so far.

Like my shoulder issue I described in my first post, I at first thought, heck, Im 50. Getting old.  But as it got worse, I failed to believe that any longer. Ive done cycles of going on and off taking certain vitamins and minerals such as iron, zinc, magnesium.  Going to smart water which is distilled with minerals added, but no fluoride or other things found in standards of bottled water. Etc. Etc.

When it finally came to mind about my cell phone use, on speaker up on my shoulder under the shirt, when I quit that, now after some time the pain is non existent.

I dont believe that it is just 'us', or say some of us, that is the problem. And if what I read over that which you presented again more thoroughly and find that it really claims that we are the issue and not the comm signals, then I at this point have to disagree. I have to look at it more as an alternative excuse to let it continue as is and just charge us for unnecessary doctor bills.

Thanks for posting that. ;)

Hey Mags

I would build this --http://www.coe.ufrj.br/~acmq/polarity/
Above is a bi-polar variation of this-- http://amasci.com/emotor/chargdet.html which I figured out on my own years ago before seeing the bipolar version. Next is a very sensitive Jfet tied to the gates of the P and N channel mosfets of the bipolar version not unlike we would setup a darlington pair. I now use a directional detector, four P and four N channel mosfets with small jfets driving them as a bipolar directional array.

If you set it up right you can easily detect someone combing their hair in the next room fifty feet away. What you will find is everyone is basically full of shit and we are immersed in massive EM fields from damn near every man made device polluting our environment. It's simple, better tools and better measurements equals better data and my field of expertise is electrostatics.

The question is, what if you could detect a change of one millionth of a volt? what would you hear?. Now what if we could detect one billionth or one trillionth of one trillionth of a volt change in potential?, what do you think you would hear?...everything?. This is the realm of detection both Tesla and Moray were working towards decades ahead of where were at now.

Mags,  I've had an EMF analog meter for a long while and it's very sensitive.   Recently I decided to get a digital one off ebay.   It was a piece of junk.   It's a 3120 I believe.   First problem was it had no markings inside the battery compartment about which way to install the 9 volt battery.  Just two metal bumps in there so it could go either way.   Directions said nothing about polarity or showing which way to install.  I finally took it apart to find a pin 1 on an IC chip knowing that should be negative and traced it back to the battery terminals.   That worked.   But the meter seems to need to be within an inch or less of known strong EMF sources before it registers much of anything.   Not sure if I just got a bad one or if it's that insensitive.   I noticed when I had it apart there was just a resistor standing up behind a plate where it is used to point at EMF sources.   A resistor?   It looked to me like that resistor should have been some sort of sensor.   Anyway I think the older Analog ones might be a safer bet than one like I got.   The seller I got it from wasn't any help either - he just said put the battery in one way and if that didn't work try the other.   Unless it has protection that sounded like a good way to blow the circuit.

Thanks guys

What Im specifically looking for is a meter that reads in the cell freq range, as this is what Im focused on at this time.

Most of the ones in that ebay link supposedly work particularly in those ranges.

I guess my major question is do you guys think the foil on the inside wall would deflect at least some of the meter cell freq away from the apt? If it does seem to help, I could use a spray glue and squeegee it to the wall and paint over it. For now it is just a tape up job to see.

The more I talk to people around me, the more I find that most of them have trouble getting to sleep, or just getting sleep period. Didnt realize that before. Seems you have to bring up the subject to get others to open up about it.
