Polymagnets North and South poles on same surface

I had never heard of these.  What this company (skip to 2:15 in the video) does is print multiple poles of N and S
on the same side of a neo mag.  They can make any design required.  This limits the range of the field to prevent it bothering
other devices but, think about this...same poles on the same face/surface of a strong neo mag?

This has to be good for something else maybe too?

The last time I looked (many years ago now) they were magnetized in stripes, maybe ten stripes of alternating polarity across the business-card sized sheet. I think they are magnetized using something like a big tape recording head.

Put a small neo on a ferrite magnet N to N or S to S and you can draw your own designs on the ferrite mag. I'm guessing this printing method is similar.

Can you reprint the neos with other designs like you can ferrite or is it a one shot deal due to how much stronger neos are?
