hey guys ,

I am a 19 yr old student and for my schol project I am building a stirling engine. I have encountered a difficulty which regards the ratio of the displacing piston to the power pistons??
Any help would be appreciated....

thanks,

Andrew

As par the reply to your other post. 30 to 1 , displacement to power. This is for a low temp engine. If you are building a high temp engine then I cannot comment.

@Andrew,

check out this site, green power science.  http://www.greenpowerscience.com/  They are building a stirling engine and get you started.  I dont think they have yet finished the build.  Hope that helps you.
