HOW TO WIIRE A SOLID STATE IGNITION MODULE??

I have a LX327 four terminal ignition module shown below.  Can someone show me the two battery terminals and point out what terminals go to the primary winding of an ignition coil?? A small diagram would be helpful.

Below is a figure of a ford electronic timing sensor which is a coil that detects the toothed rotor. The other is an optical MSD timing sensor.  In the case of the ford, I believe the toothed rotor is not magnetized, so its probably a signal produced by the module and is altered when the tooth is dead center. But if its magnetized then the coil just picks that signal up by induction So just 2 wires to the module from the coil and the coil detects the tooth for timing. The MSD optical needs 4 wires, 2 for the led and 2 for the optical sensor. Could have been 3 wires with common gnd.

The last pic is of a GM pickup coil but I havnt found a pic of the part that affects the pickup coil. So I might try connecting the circuit other than the pickup inputs to the module and measure the module pins there to see if there is voltage. Just to check. If no voltage then some voltage sig has to be provided as the pickup coil may if it is induced by a spinning magnet.  If there is a voltage out of those pins on the module, it may be possible that touching them together momentarily may trigger it. Maybe try a 1kohm resistor to do this, and if it doesnt work step down the resistance and try again.

If you have some time look up on how the pickup coil gets its signal. I use yahoo and look at images that can connect you with the articles they came from. Ill see what I can find later. lil busy. Dont want you to harm the module just trying things
