If metals do multiply, they must do it very secretly. ^^


While there is often oxidation the cause for their distribution, certain metail, such as gold, behave diffrently. Current observations show the pattern of certain bacterias work in the structure of gold found in rivers. Monatomic and diatomic gold in aquaic solution may be collected and accummulated by these bacteria. This is why gold nuggets grow in rivers. Even goldplated iron Nails are found in rivers.


Maybe that's their way of "multiplying".


True transmutation may occur only very rarely due to atomic decay. At least the standard model says so.
