Hi Vineet_Kiran,

Your new video is interesting with it being able to make the corner. Attached is a half baked(untested) idea of putting the magnet inside of a larger wheel where the offset of the magnet changes the CoM and causes the outer wheel to become a flywheel.

@Dreamthinkbuild,

Nice design but difficult to build for me.  I am trying to make a simple self looping SMOT.   I will post the video in a few days whether it works or not.

Tried with circular loop - Failed!

It does not work with circular loop, the magnet is kicking back!

I think as webby1 said there is some mystery in the wild turn and I will try to change looping introducing wild angles instead of circular loop.

Hi Vineet,

What if you built a slight slope for the last 10-15 cm of the (circular) track the end of which the ring could fall a little and may escape from the last magnet (and could enter again),  I mean the slope you indicated in the drawing in your 2nd post above and showed in an earlier video?

@Gyulasun,

Actually it is not properly built.   When slope on array is provided on long arc,   the starting point will be at very high elevation and ending point will be at very low elevation.    Hence magnet will experience negligible attractive force at the starting point.   Also the array in the middle  portion is bending downwards due to lack of support.   Which reduces the momentum of moving magnet.

I have dismantled it and making arrays in bits of shorter arcs.  This time I will test it introducing a ramp also.
