After watching a Video link on another thread regards the Finruds Perpetual Mobile

I got to thinking that maybe using magnets against magnets is indeed the problem as we all know about the sticky spot/point that is created.

With a magnet one side and the other using steel balls or some other metal and using attraction rather than repulsion are we not doing away with the dreaded SPOT and hence getting over the problem?

Just letting my brain whirl a bit this end LOL

Please pardon my noobishness, but my opinion is this-

It doesn't make any difference whether it's attraction or repulsion at work.  It still requires an external force.

In repulsion mode it requires an external force to push into the magnetic field, and in attraction mode it requires an external force to pull out of the magnetic field.

All mechanical set ups are subjected to this tyranny of nature.

The mechanical devices that seem to come closest to overcoming this are those that disguise the source and true effect of the external forces being applied to them.

Sorry to talk in such broad generalities.  It is just my considered opinion that no mechanical set up alone can be contrived to overcome it's own nature.  If it were to succeed it would, by definition, no longer be just a mechanical set up.

I do think however that there are and can be electro-mechanical arrangements, and arrangements using other forms of energy(currently known and unknown), which can and will fit the current definition of overvunity devices.

So, my suggestion then (forgive me), if you are prepared to change direction, would be for you to move towards the development of a device that incorporates a mechanical element rather than being based on one.

Develop a device that does what it does by allowing the forces of nature (currently known and unknown) to act as they will upon that machine.  That way the machine will be a conduit for those forces rather than an imitator or false generator of them...

Mmm.  Getting all metaphysical now so I'd better stop.  Was just letting my own brain whirl a bit.
