Rule number one of free energy:

1. Don't buy it, believe it.

Im getting 2 3d printers as I have a lot of things I want to make that takes way too long by hand. One of them is the rebuild of the MMM magnet motor.

http://overunity.com/9103/magluvins-magnet-motor-mmm-being-released-for-open-source-developement/msg239046/#msg239046

Ive come up with some solutions on this and the printer will help tremendously.  They are Creality CR 10 printers. The reviews are fantastic for a $400 printer.

One of the issues I had was that build was flawed. I designed it for 7stators and 8 mags, and in my excited stuper I decided to go 9 stators and 10 mags, fully neglecting the timing issue it created that I found when it was done. Stupid.  Its based on only having 1 stator switched at any time. Well it was hitting 2 stators half of the time putting too much tension for the other mags in push pull to overcome. I was so discusted I put it down and never got back to it as it had already sooo much time in it. All by hand, jigsaw, drill and dremel.

The other issue is the distance between mags in mid push pull position. Ive found that the rotor mags need to be more adjacent to each other to increase the push pull.  It cant be a bunch of small mags for each pole, they need to be full length, and the reason why is the multiple mags will have cogging and solid will attract all the way to the center of the rotor mag.

I had remade a larger setup later on and it had severe issues with magnets not being of the same flux strength and off center poles.  These thing have to be the same and in perfect push pull balance. Dry runs were terribly off. I show vids of dry runs to see if all the other push pulls could push through the switch of one stator with the first build.

Its all in the thread above.  Once I get the printers going Ill reenter that thread and post what I am doing.  If interested in how it should work read the whole thread and watch the vids. Only 3 pages.

Well done anyway Magluvin.

What you did, was probably not wrong. You would not make the "correct" version to work either. You would face the very same issues with a 7/8 configuration.

The reason is that during one complete cycle, the wheel must work on all parts. If you take all parts and devide on all parts , you get 1. In other words you get the same out as you put in.
Only friction is the reason why the wheel stops.

You could make a 9/8, 6/5, 5/4, 4/3, 3/2, 2/1 configuration. They would all stop.

However, as I first said, well done! You have the craftmanship very few people in here possibly can achieve. Your abilities to make astonishing producs makes great promises for you to succeed!!
What more, you seem to be honest enough to share your mistakes instead of cheating and let us believe you have a working motor.

Keep up the good work. You have nothing to be sorry about :) :)
