Interesting new technology. I hope Peter Lang will answer your questions on youtube, I asked myself the same.

It is "galfenol nanotech from the USAF" but I can't find any source for the product.
In his previous youtube video, Peter Lang writes: "Specific alloy formula on sale for 100,000 USD"! It leaves me a little confused....

I think Galfenol is a slightly less fashionable cousin of Terfenol-D, which is rather more magnetostrictive. Both cost an arm and a leg.
