There are other equatorial high altitude sites to choose from like Mt. Kilimanjaro in Kenya Africa. Snow mining coupled with geothermal power could hydrolize the liquid and pressure fill cargo tanks for spinlaunch into orbit from the high altitude. The rockets can release their gas in orbit and glide home to Earth for reuse. This combination would profit from precious liquid water for the Orbital Reef. A hot bath would be pleasant in Outerspace along with a seafood menu.

The mountains are taller at the equator because the Earth bulges at the perimeter from its spin. Ten top choices appear but Chimborazo stands alone as a choice for a variety of reasons. They all have big dreams but when you git right down to the facts, man was not meant to be in or work in space. There must be gravity for this design of body to work. The trip to Mars for instance, will not be kind to any aboard. By the time they get there, the damage will have been done and they will not be able to do much if any physical work.
Just look at all the peeps that come back from the ISS that have been there long. Useless at best. Bed ridden most of the time.
