Hi, I made the correction on my second drawing as you described I believe. Not sure you can see it on your phone.

Thanks for that, but in the video he says to flip the battery that's in parallel, so I don't know. We shall see.

The batteries were stone dead. You will  damage lithium batteries discharging that low. Don't try it with new batteries or you may end up in the hospital.
