Hi Low-Q

It will work!!! I could tell that at a glance, even if a couple members doubt that it will. With very little refinemant it should work like a champ.
On the red end form an eye and on the X end grind it to a sharp point. Then between the 4 and 1 magnets form a barb. ;)

Ah Not true. That design been catchin em for hundreds of years!!! (See ya'all down at the fishin hole) ;D

Low-Q Good luck with your project. I gotta pop another top. Hamm's the beer refreashing. ;)

Thanks! That was uplifting :) Lets try and see how, or if it works. I have had many designs through the years with promising theory, but so far none of them has worked...

The design has probably a few things I have to add or modify. I'm afraid the sticky point is between A and D. So if I could make a similar arrangement where the rotor magnets are not affected by any magnetic field (At least where the sum of attraction of iron and repeling of an equal pole is zero - but in a distance that makes the X pole the dominant pole...I'll make or modify the drawing so you understand what I mean.

Mmm.  Just in case he doesn't come back to clarify -

Idnick, probably drunk, was joking about how the design looks like a fish hook.
