I agree that it may not be a complete, perfect, exact duplication.  I would expect some slight variation.

It is still a lift of faith for those researching Testatika.

I agree it's probably using more energy to rotate the two discs
than the 100W and 300W it puts out. At least I can see it
taking that much power to run the motor (if there is a motor and
a wall outlet behind it.) The discs seem to be running pretty
fast and I count 5 pulleys at least.

The original webpage that I'd saved was titled "Testatika
Nachbau von Jorge Resines". Nachbau is german for Clone.
I was just being faithful to the original when I used the
term "Clone". "von" can be either "from" or "by" so I used
both.

It is a beautiful thing though. And from my limited experience
so far, getting 300W out of rotating discs is pretty impressive.
I wonder if they just replaced those two large coils on either
side with concentric grid cylinder style pots, would they start
generating excess power?

Also, if those horseshoe magnets are playing an active part
in the overall circuit, given their placement in the circuit,
they're likely serving the same function they are in the
real testatikas (I suspect they're acting as diodes.)

If anyone knows the history of this replication (Stefan?) it
sure would be nice if they'd share it.
