Glad you said something about that .Short burst because of heat.
huh ,the crazy thing is about those spark like critters is you do not see them with the naked eye.
If you look close at the end part of the video , the one where it plays over and over.You can see these strange spark like effects at the surface and under the water. Theses sparks run at 90* to the plates.
I first noticed these kinds of effects when videoing my Plasma Reactors .The one in the reactors also you could not see with the naked eye but became clear on video ,dancing all over the place.

do you get this with "clean" plates? ie: plates that have run awhile or have been "conditioned" in the reaction for awhile?

you can also chemically clean the plates, but the chemical name slips me at the moment, potassium-?...

These seem to happen no matter the condition of the plates. Some plates acid washed others dirty and over heated.Some polished like chrome and others with 32 grit scratches in.
I have seen this on cells like this  Nitronic Stainless and on my other 316L - 304 Stainless and in a different form in my Tungsten Nitronic  ans 316 screen type plasma reactors.
At every amperage 0.1 to 100 and voltage 0.1 to 1000 .
One more thing, these seemingly arcs have never combusted a HHO cell or a plasma reactor .

Hi Ironhead,
why doesn?t the gas explode, when these sparks occur ?
Or are these sparks only visible to the camera ?
Not with the naked eye ?

They're only visible to the camera and not all cameras will show them. Also the images seem to be much stronger under this IF light condition that is injected to this cell. This is a Canon Digital Picture camera in video mode.

can you please post a short video with an ignition test,
maybe let the cell just run for 5 seconds and then ignite some
bubbles with a lighter, so we can see, that this gas is really HHO ?

Somebody a few months back made a simular device, where he produced
just CO2 from baking soda water or simular electrolyte and it also had massive
CO2 gas output.
