Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

From what I have done it just seems to work best that way .
I really do not have a good solid scientific explanation  for this.
All though there is a fraction of a theory that I have thought abut.

I Have done this many ways and again it just works best this way
Results from your experience on this point is good enough for me. Preconditioning begins...

My current draw with water from our company water cooler is only about 2mA to start out. Does that seem right to you?

Hi, ZeroFossilFue
First let me say nice work and approach to construction on your cell.

Second, re: fitting
May I suggest a SS fitting to keep all exposed components in same relative neutral potential. I just saw your last video, and the method of taping and mounting the fitting. I was going to propose something similar, eg straight hole drill as you did, and use of Teflon tape or acrylic glue. Also a threaded SS pipe straight fitting with SS nuts and washes on both sides, so you can mount any kind of fitting on the outside and even use it as a feed through. Also use of a plastic fitting such as the ones used in aquariums, might work well (it will also exclude the introduction of another metallic potential in the cell)

Re: SS bridge of the 2 outer electrodes.
Instead of using a bride inside the cell, feed them through the wall independently like you?ve done with the center electrode and connect them out side the cell. (Total of 3 electrical all SS feed troughs on this particular configuration). This may add flexibility in connectivity schemes down the future and also eliminate completely the SS strip over the cell and the possibility of leakage currents through it, especially at elevated voltages sealant cracking etc.

Re: your top seal. Depending on your machining capabilities, if possible machining a small groove U or square shape into the top plate,  measure the total perimeter length, and obtain an O ring of appropriate thickness and Diameter (diameter same as the machined groove total path length or the perimeter of your rectangular top. Insert the O ring into the grove and use the bolts to compress it and have a seal and replaceable parts with it.

Or a fairly cheap way it to make your own gasket out of an old rubber tire or another selected elastic sheet material. Just cut it with the exacto knife, rectangular shape to much the top of your cell outer walls, allow undersized holes for the mounting botls etc.

Interesting thread.
Again, nice work from all the contributors.

What is your voltage? If you don't have enough voltage to feed the whole cell (n plates) plus the amount of resistance in the water i can see you only pulling 2ma.

How did you or have you charged your cell yet?

Your going to have voltage drop on each cell. Not sure on how many plates you have but just say you have 18 plates that means you have 17 cells...You need a min voltage of 1.24v possibly lower (I haven't been able to get lower than that) per cell so you need a min of 1.24 X 17 cells = 21V so 2 12 volt batts in series or 24 volts from a power supply.

This does not say that you can't go over 24 volts but this is a baseline (my own anyway) for the min voltage needed for your cell.

It?s easier to be forgiven than it is to get permission....

13.45 VDC as instructed. When I disconnect the supply I still see residual voltage on the terminals, around 2v. I will later bring in a variable supply in a bit to ramp it to 24, then 36, then 48.
