Meyer tubes and lawton circuit success

When you talk about the Dave Lawton's circuit are you reffering to this file:

If yes, do you use the coils of an alternator or do you only use the circuit on his own?

Actually, I also made the Lawton circuit a couple of months ago (with heat sink). As I was not able to get a lot of gas (I got much more gas with a mere 12 volts bat (and, BTW, of lot of amps  ;))), I gave up my experiments with this 'standalone' circuit. I thought that this 'coil-less' circuit was too simple to be efficient and too good to be true... :-\

So, I was wondering if you were talking about this very circuit.
Now, I will carry on my experiments and try the Big_Fat_Pot_Head AM radio tuning  :)
BTW: 620 AM? 620 meters?
