Modified VHS drum


For the diy enthusiast amongst you, I've just modified the video drum from an old vhs recorder and made it into a rotating platform with built in flywheel.
Most of the modification is shown in the image, the good bearings and balance of this setup makes it ideal for doing tests.
My bottom base consists of the lid from a coffee jar.
