@Erutan: yes, that is exactly the problem: specific technological jargon
is often difficult to translate.
I understand most of the German jargon because it is close to Dutch,
for example the "Kopplerspule" is sometimes called "koppelspoel"
in Dutch (where "oe" is pronounced as "u" in German).

Do not go out of your way to translate if it is difficult.
I just wanted to point out that there's others who might find some of the things
you guys said interesting too.

@Pese: Thank you, I know how to google for Coler in English.
I can find info on it, that's fine. I just have trouble finding people who have
done some Coler-type experiments and can say anything sensible about it.
You guys here seemed to be saying some sensible things, though.
That's what made me ask. But thanks anyway.
