Regarding this video:  http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=oeaG6bPIPGs  I don't even see any "cogging" for lack of a better term.  Either that shield wheel , or the end weights are very heavy, and it's absorbing it, or there is so much parasitic drag from the gears and bearings that they are absorbing the pulses.  That thing doesn't rock back when it stops either.  I know not everything is a conspiracy, but I almost feel like that exact set up would work, but in that video, it doesn't.  I bet off camera, its running his house:)  And Stefan has his house running on a replica of it. j/k
