more problems with a transistor and pulse

hi all. i need your help again please. ::)
the problem is i am getting a pulse but the the transistor is staying on, and not switching fully on, and  fully off like a switch..
i am putting 0.12volts from the optic sensor (OPB876) into the small transistor (2N3904)and getting 10.06 volts from the collector
i am using a 2N3055 as drive transistor

12 volts motor bike battery ( is at 10.06 volts at the moment)
i have tryed place a 1k to 5k resistor from base to emitter but no luck
emitter read 0.00volts ???
