It's to late to contact Mr. Prentice wich is a shame, we also need some
breakthroughs in longevity. Not having any flat ground around here I'll
let someone else play with it. I don't know if the wires direction is critical.
This is a great project for the Bonniville Salt Flats were you can easily tap
in wood stakes for 1/2 mile in any direction.

This is a serious question as it also has direct bearing on proper use of the
third coil Tesla added to the secoundary of the Tesla Coil.It may have a
direct signifigance to wrap size and power transfer. It may mean the difference
in output wattage, things can resonate without efficient power transfer.
