What would the Power to Weight ratio of a battery need to be to power and be carried by the same lifter?

What is it that makes lifters more or less efficant, making them of meany small cells or making the whole thing bigger? Why hasn't this been done to much of an extent yet?

Is there a good lifter website that dosn't look like a myspace page, if not then is there a demand for one? or a facebook group?

Not only would you have to carry the battery... but you would need to carry the transformer and circuit to create the high-voltage you need.

I don't think you would ever carry the batteries needed, much less the circuit.

In order to make use of this technology - you would need to broadcast electricity... or you would need to tap into the aether or schuman-freq or something along those lines.

I've seen lifters respond to a tesla coil (in close proximity) but broadcast-power is not being done... and even if you could, the government wouldn't allow you to broadcast... I think even the FCC is armed these days.  You would at least be accused of weapons development and taken to Gitmo.
