So I am very new to the whole idea of "over-unity" and to be honest, I am a skeptic. But I've decided to try and learn (and experiment) as much as I can before I make any final judgements.

Anyways, I am trying to find a design for such a machine that I can build myself.? Even if the output is very small, I just want to see it work in principle.? In my reading, I have come across this page, which has some drawings and ideas that related to concepts in Bedini systems.

In particular, I am intrigued by the "Adams type test motor" about halfways down that page:

Looks fairly sumple, and most materials I could probably find at Radio Shack.
Here are my questions:

1) If you're someone who has toyed with motors like this, in your opinion, does this design look remotely workable?
2) Hall devices... I am not looking to spend a lot of money.  Are these available at electronics stores?  Salvagable from other devices?
3) What is that yellow box at the base of the shaft?

And any other pointers on the actual construction of the motor would be appreciated.

Hi,

I am working on a similar model since over 2 months and I came out with good results.
My machine is working with 2 type of set up.

I use some of the John Bedini ideas (school girl energizer) and because it is not a self starting motor, I use a reed swicht to get a self starting and then after a few seconds I turned the reed swicht off and turn the self timing coil on(John Bedini Patent  Here the links:   http://peswiki.com/index.php/Directory:Bedini_SG) and the machine is working on is own. Also since the last 2 weeks now it runs and recharges its own battery. "Fantastic"  Plus i hooked 2 more battery on the output and it does recharge them all.

Now this machine is working with 2 coils only and this coming week end according to the weather man it is suppose to rain here in Ottawa, Canada so i think it will be a good time to keep on working on adding more coils on my rig.

I am at work right now and I must return to work so I will try to add more details on my set up later.

I want to tell everyone that it is a great challenge to work on this type of machine but it worth it i can tell you.

To watch this thing working by itself is a very good reward.

Sorry if I have made mistake in my writting cause my first language is french.

God bless

Joe

Hi Joe,
thanks for the update.
Please post some pics and diagrams, if you have time.
Finally somebody, who gotthe Bedini-Adams type motors
to work himself.

Please post details.

Thanks.

Hi  Stefan and all,

Yes I will show some pictures of my machine as soon as I'm done with my new set up. As I said on my previous post the Energizer is working very well with 2 coils so tonight I will continue on working adding some more coils. ( at least one more )  Adding coils to this machine means that I have to be more precised on ajusting the timing so all the coils have to fire at the same time.
Ajusting the reed swicth is not a big deal but ajustement of the trigger coil is the hardest part.
Anyway I will try to do my best this week end and I let you all know whatever it was a success or if I failed.

Regards Joe

Hi stefan and all,

I was suppose to send photos and specs of my new device but I encounter a problem concerning the making of my new 6" aluminium wheel.  Three weeks ago I have sent my wheel to a student machinist (because he charged me much less money for grooving it) and he did not do the right way ( to much vibration ). So I have another wheel right now and I will wait until fall before working on my machine.

So,  just let you to know that I am still on that project but like every Canadians I will be enjoying our short summer and be back on fall.

Have a great summer!!

Joe
