this would actualy be a intelligent temporary move. If you could keep the alt energy people down enough, you could increase the price of oil without a real need. The problem with the tatic is that overtime the alt energy groups will expand and the oil companies will start to fall. BUT... This get rich quick idea will still serve the people running it now. Game's will do the same thing. They only release so many to stores when the first come out and keep the prices high. This guarantees their economic safety. The difference is that doing this with oil is just sick....
