It wouldn't be impossible however I dont believe anyone on this site had the means to build one with the custom shaped magnets. That I believe it still besides the point. I have yet to see a so called SMOT lift anything more then a half inch. There may be video out of something higher but I haven't personally seen it. If you could lift a ball on a straight track or curved over 4 inches in any configuration then we might have something to work with. I always come back to the fact that SMOTs probably don't produce energy.
