If all agree that this is referring to the collector coil---

then stating that there is no iron wire in the device period, would imply you mean ALL the coils, when really you can only say that for the collectors.

SM said "bailing wire" in the video, and now we see Tesla using iron wire for not only the core (as well as insulated strips), but over top the secondaries as well. Tesla knew how to coat wires, so it is conceivable that he tried iron wire for windings too, and just maybe, so did SM.

I was not rude at you nor at anybody else. I read the posts on this forum for long time like many others and I do not judge people by the date they joined in. My nature is rather listening to others and taking the good out of it. You can rest assured that if I would have a well running TPU I would share it even with you. Rudeness doesn?t lead to victory but rather to the opposite. I did not try to mislead anybody, that would be the last thing I would want to do.
And I appreciate your idea in your last post.

Guys - I'm not admonishing anyone, but let's not focus too much on Jack Durban's interview. I mean, I think it's agreed that he really didn't say anything of value, except to make a couple of points about the device not having any sophisticated electronics and that it has a thermal dissipation problem in SM's design. Everything else is just fluff and prolonged discussion of it serves no purpose. His "master" video copy is about all we can really benefit from, if he ever gets it posted somewhere.
