Temperature test on the Dampners.

It's been theorized that the Dampners are acting as magnetic sinks and may change temperature. A data set pre and post any decent sized run (say 20 minutes) should confirm that.

Gentlemen, I am surprised no one has figured this out yet. Al's discovery was by mistake as many things are discovered.
Mold and penicillin come to mind. What is happening here is an uncontrolled runaway oscillation. His machine is working on resonance.
Think of your washer or other large mass when it becomes unbalanced. It slows down but the vibrations amplify in intensity. The key is "CONTROL"  This is the main reason many have been unsuccessful. We all know it takes very little movement to make a magnet stator spin with another magnet. Picture the small stators vibrating very fast then couple that with the runaway effect. Al got lucky! His set up is resonating at a specific frequency and that's why at a certain RPM is locks. It's vibrating at
a sweet spot. I have no time or room right now to experiment but my theory can be proven by inducing vibrations at different frequency's
to some or all of the units rotating parts and observe the effect. The secret here is to control the oscillations at is starts to accell then bring the Rpm back down and let the unit repeat. Think of a magnet as DC current. If magnets put out an AC wave form all our problems would be solved. They don't. What keeps this spinning is the vibration of the small stators.  I don't believe the weight or shape of the main rotor is critical. It's the stator magnets and how they "VIBRATE".    If anyone get's a working unit I have a prototype molding shop and can replicate the rotor and other small plastic parts 100%. I can make small runs very very cheap. I can get 100 pulls from one mold.
