you're in a bit of a fantasy world here. people won't even post pics and schematics of their experiments, never mind the same for a working tpu, because there isn't one.

no one has anything yet, and most aren't even qualified to determine whether they have anything or not. so don't get too excited about these announcements--they're vapour-ware until something such as measurement data or videos with scope shots are posted that clearly show proof. there's a big difference between cynicism and being objective.

claims without substance and empty teases are a dime a dozen. question what is posted, think for yourself.

spherics has substance and is a good path to pursue, go for it.

You say in your 5-26-08 post (#957) that the device in the bottom center of the FTPU is probably a microphone. I would submit that is it not a microphone, at least in a conventional sense. The item in the FTPU looks exactly (to me) the same as the item in the center of the MTPU (the one that was cut up) as shown in the attached picture. I suggest that if one can identify the item in the attached picture, then they have the identity of the one in the FTPU. There are other pictures of the MTPU that show the center item. Hope this information helps.

If one to insist it is a mic, that "device" in the center suggests it is a simple planar resonator with a mic in the center. It reacts on the vibration of the "main" body (external toroid) and passes vibration to the microphone. This is pretty logical as attaching microphone directly to the toroid may run it into unuseful acoustical overload (if vibration is considerable).
