Interesting thought I had, surely I'm not the first to think about this.  I see an interesting similarity to both the tesla convertor, SM device, and the Ed Leedskalnin perpetual motion holder!  In Ed's device, a quick DC pulse sets up a magnetic field that stays, seemingly forever, until the core is seperated, and energy is then released back out the coils.

In Tesla convertor, and SM device, they use AC current to set up the magnetic field, but that field rotates in the core, I think because it is AC current.  Do you think it is possible that somehow a happy medium was found between these devices?  Let's say, a quick pulse sets up the magnetic field that stays.  Then theoretically, it may take very little energy to push it along? Possibly could explain if maybe only a very small amount of energy was actually going into the device, while much was coming back out? If Ed Leedskalnins device was capable of moving the magnetic poles around the core, it would easily generate energy in the coils, and maybe it would not lose any magnetic field while doing so?

In this scenario, there really could have been a really small battery, hidden in SM's device.  Because if my (probably worthless) idea was possible, a small battery would be capable of keeping the chain reaction going that creates MUCH MORE power???

Maybe???  Any thoughts???

Actually, with my previous post idea, a battery would not be needed, if he used a capacitor of course.  He could have easily fed a bit of energy back into the cap to keep the cycle going. I'm just kicking around an idea of course, I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes.
