Obtaining energy from Newman Motor?

Hi Guys,
Time ago I was thinking how wen can obtain energy from a Newman motor. And my conclusion is this:

In a normal Newman motor, we can prolong the iron bar of the motor, the same bar that magnets are closed to. We can put in that bar a serial of generators to obtain energy from. Like a dynamo or a dc generator, but without friction.

What do you think?

So you mean the axle being made of iron and a when you say a series of generators you mean several coils around the iron bar is this correct?  i wasn't aware that rotation of iron alone in a coil would make current or would its rotation generate current cos it is connected to the magnets?

I?m going to explain it better because yesterday was very late and I made a brief description.

You have a newman motor, so the newman motor has an axle where the magnets are sticked. You can use the movement of rotation of the axle to put a serie of magnets (the draws that I made contained the magnets inside the plastic of the generators, look at the black dots). I don?t know if the draw is correct, but I think that you are understand on the idea.

It?s like the wind turbine works. You have to rotate the axle and a serie of generator make electricity. But in the newman motor you don?t need the plastic pieces that the fan has. Instead, you use the rotation of the newman motor axle to move the generators.

I don?t know if it will be better a friction generator or a non friction generator (I think the last is better, but It may be that makes lower energy).

Hi Magnethos,

Your design is sound, you just have to match the Newman Motor to your setup. I am planning a similar setup with my latest motor. I plan to add a windmill design alternator to be Newman driven. I have all the parts for a 3 rotors dual stators air core axial flux alternator. I bought 36 1.5" x 1" x .25" N50 neodynium magnets and  a 10 lb spool of awg 18 magnet wire for 18 bifilar coils. I have also found in my junk 6 diodes from a 100 amp delco alternator to be mounted on 2 big heatsinks. The only problem is that you have to match the Newman motor to the alternator and that is not so easy to figure out because most of the NM design replications offer a poor power curve.

Trials and errors approach can take time and cost quite a lot since the price on copper and other ferrous/non-ferous metal is out of control.

Just for the alternator, magnets and magnet wire add up to over $300 so making replications isn't cheap even if you can skim corners on prototypes.
