Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Hi Alan,

I think the first thing to be considered is the mechanical size (or volume) of both:  up to a few kg of weigth a magnet motor can be stronger than a gravity motor but then the cost of big magnets will gradually become a limiting factor and gravity motors will surely be the winner in high mechanical sizes.

I can imagine a combination of both types into a common setup of course, here the limit also the higher prices for really big magnets.

Applications? Everywhere in the world, especially in remote places where there is no normal utility power available or other alternative power sources are problematic or not applicable.

Danger? Not bigger than any presently known electric motors of comparable sizes involve,  added to this the fact of the danger of handling big sized magnets or moving weights if maintenance is needed.

PS:  looking forward to seeing your possible designs...  ;)

Gyulasun said it well...

Most obvious pro's/contra's.
If only we could have any type of working devices....
Cheers!

Hello

I would say that the gravity wheel would be stronger, but the magnet wheel would be faster. So under a load the gravity wheel wins in my book, for you have to depend on the power of the magnet when the gravity wheel can be made heavier.

G,day

Generally, Gravity is thought of as the force that keeps us on this planet

However in terms of earth its force is limited by the distance an object falls and only works in one direction,
gravity cannot be reversed.

Unless you have access to  technology that will allow you to create antigravity
then you have perpetual motion

Any object dropped from a great height will embed itself in the planets surface.

Therefore Gravity is only a limited very powerfull force a terrestrial force

Magnetism is portable will work anywhere and can be magnyfied
can be used in reverse.
Its power depending on its size shape and material made from.
Also can be turned on and off if an electromagnet

However takeing BLACK HOLES into account I would say Gravity is a  more  powerfull force in the universe

As to Magnet and Gravity motors

Gravity is clean and simple

Magnet can be costly and dangerous

A Hybrid may be the best way to go

In the scheme of things gravity is solid permanent power beyond our comprehension .

Magnetism is to be used and moved and should be avoided in  ginormous permanent magnet projects

So in conclusion gravity is the Stronger

But should be used together with gravity

I appologise for my ramblings now these words are only based on my thoughts and you may not agree with them

One last thought

Build yourself a solar death ray the only parts needed 2 cm sq mirrors lots of them get your device to follow the sun you have steam power at a very small cost use power during the day and lights at night from batteries

Best wishes john

QuoteBladerunner is my idea of a future hell, the rapid increase of low cost electricity will cause a massive swelling of all types of comodities issues. We are very close to peak consupmtion on many items. Cure third world disease with clean water and give the rest of us consumers low cost power and we will eat through this planet like termites in soft pine.

The passage of time being relative, to some we may appear as consumers eating through this planet like termites in soft pine as it is!

Hi Alan,

here is my personal opinion:

Gravity-Motors can be built in several ways (at the moment i see 3 different ways, but all using same forces and same very basic principle). Usefull energy-output on all devices are comparable. I asume a device with 3 meteres diameter outputs 1 to 5 kW.  Overunity growes in square by diameter and weights used and maybe its depth = volume.

I asume a proper built Magnet-Motor same size (using an optimized functional principle only) could output much more, maybe 5 to 50 kW.

The most energy generated by a free-energy-device should be expected by static devices without moving parts or hydrogen-motors. These are powering cars in future but also a calculator or cell-phone (no more batteries), where space is limited. A device that size (3 meters diameter) should produce 10 to 100 kW or more usefull output.

When II. or III. generation of free energy device begins, Gravity-motors are still here for poor people and still in museum for show history (antique). But at the moment i would appreciate having one at least an antique here (Greetings to Bessler 1712).
