In my time zone the 3-day window has been closed for over 5 and 1/2 hours now...

One of the good things I personally got from this particular thread was a bump from "newbie" to "Jr. member" status, so I can't say it was a TOTAL waste of my time. Also If you haven't done so, go back and listen to Yucca's song to hear some decent techno application of modern synth software.

Lessons learned
1. Science and Art = good mix (Yucca's tune rocks... and that wingmakers book would make a cool movie!)
2. Science and Religion = bad mix (Do archangels even need a ship?)
3. Channeling takes a Dow Jones-like dive in credibility (Blossom commits "career suicide")
4. Based on the outcome of this non-event, we can apply a 1% chance that anything happens on 11/11/08 (with a 1% margin of error    ) or any other date...

@hans RE: the aussie "priest"... exactly! That's how it happens,  sometimes with worse results such as Jim Jones, david koresh in waco and those "comet chasers" that"shed their bodies" to hitch a ride on the hale-bopp comet. Those that do not study history are doomed to repeat it. Hopefully everyone common to this thread and the electrinium one heeds your advice about NOT toying with cyanide...

All it takes is one or two people disrespecting other members...then all the trolls with nothing to offer but negativity come out of the woodwork.

The best thing to do is refer your posts to them in the third person...they seem to require someone's personal attention in order to maintain their level of interest.

When they don't get their feedback/fix, they move on in search of another intellectual crack house.
