Just curious to know if anyone heard of these designs or tried replicating them?  I did a search of the site and couldn't find any threads relating to this subject.

The 9V battery charging described by Dr. Anthony Meiers seems fairly low tech  ;D

Thought it might be helpful to other subjects like the TPU as well, you never know.
