you will find that any switching device can supply your needs .. 

if you hit 60 hz sine great  if not who cares ?  lol 

dc will do just fine ...  just intrupt it ..  via mechanical switch

or use a simple CHEEP INVERTOR ...  to convert dc to 60 hz ac  sine .. if you do this you can then SMACK AT 60 HZ TO A TRANSFORMER DESIGNED FOR 60HZ ..  AND DO THE SAME THING ...

Meanwhile I tried to use a magnet instead of diode/cap or both but I couldn't determine any rectifier? effect or any effect at all. Also because of my last transistor dying I had to exchange it with another one found from an old TV plate (which seemed to be a bit more resistant to heat)... unfortunately I couldn't find any "sweet spot" (which gave me interesting values on previous one) with this kind of transistor anymore... hmmm sux 


Also I tried to change sides from the transformer box, say: input of the circuit placed into the 220V side and the output to the 8V side. Unfortunately this doesn't work at all. I am wondering why, because I thought a transistor only needs very small currents on the base. However when checking the output with the voltmeter it displayed neither voltage nor amperage.... obviously the small side does not receive any impulse all or the power is totally consumed by the ferrite core within.

I feel empty somehow on the quest for free energy... *sigh*. Now that also all experiments failed trying to get useful power out of a wimshurst maybe I need to combine this Joulethief circuit somehow with a wimshurst device... but don't know how...

The one where I got the "sweetspot" used a C548C transistor
The one where it didn't work anymore was a D1207 transistor

Didn't know where else to post this unless maybe to start a new thread, but was told that because my coil "hummed" what I had built was considered to be a variation of the joule thief. Anyway, here goes.

Built a rotor with four magnets and a coil with 1000 winds of #22 wire. Used the basic Bedini circuit that has a hundred ohm pot for tuning along with another resistor. My son was helping me and what he gave me to solder in was a 100,000 ohm pot, not a 100 ohm, and a 680 ohm, not 60 ohm. I could NOT get my wheel to spin. Duh. No wonder, wrong components. BUT, I noticed as I spun the rotor by hand that when the magnets aligned with the coil, the led light, which is triggered at 90 volts output, lit up. So I aligned a magnet with the coil and my led stayed lit and I was able to charge a second battery from the first. The coil hummed like crazy whenever the magnet came close to the coil. Thought this might be worth mentioning. Where it will lead I do not know, and I need to try it again and get some data down on paper.

I spent most of last night reading the posts on this forum from front to back so that I would be all caught up. I understand where you are coming from wanting to make sure you have the opportunity to cash in on what you have discovered. I also understand the frustration of those who want to duplicate what you have discovered to make sure it does not vanish forever for the chances of that happening are quite real.

A thought here.
Producing something that works, manufacturing it and then marketing it all cost heaps of money that none of us has. Plus from the moment it goes on the market you will be in for the fight of your life against those who would prevent this technology from reaching the public. I believe that such an effort is doomed to failure as so many before you have discovered.

However. I guarantee that if you release what you have here on the internet and open source it so that EVERYONE has it, you will eventually make the millions you want to make without the risks and without the up front costs. How you say? When such a thing becomes too widespread for those in power to control, it will eventually be manufactured by someone and sold by someone, and you have first claim to their profits because YOU released it. Everyone in the world will know where it came from. You will be famous. Everyone will want you on their television show, every magazine will want an interview, and every tech giant will compete to have you working WITH them on this breakthrough. Do you doubt that? Just ask ANYONE who is involved in the free energy research. There are literally hundreds of thousands of people out there who will pay for plans or kits or any information about a product that credible sources have been able to replicate. You KNOW that to be true. We, are your market. I would write you a check tonight for thousands of dollars IF I knew that what you have really works and others had replicated it. I have spent that much money over the years building devices of my own with small successes and great failures. I am not alone, and neither are YOU. Think carefully. Dont give those in power the opportunity to make you disappear, or allow them to buy you off for a few million when you could be rich and famous just for giving this gift to the world. Think about it seriously. If it is real, share it. Have a little faith that you would have the support and backing of ALL of us who want so much for this kind of technology to get out there.
